Hotel Policies

Check-in time is 2PM; Check-Out time at Noon. If you would like to arrive earlier or leave later please let us know in advance.

Payment and Taxes:

Reservations will be confirmed by a credit card prepayment of your first night stay plus taxes. Please note that this amount is non-refundable. The remaining balance of your stay plus taxes is collected upon your arrival at the hotel, and you may use a different credit card or pay this amount in cash, US dollars or local currency. (Local taxes: 15% IVA and 2% INTUR)

Please note: We will apply an additional 5% fee for payment by credit card to cover additional bank charges.

Cancellation Policy:

The prepaid first night stay plus tax (Reservation Fee): is not refundable under any circumstance.
Cancellation more than 2 days before arrival: No further fees will be assessed.
Cancellation within 48 hours (of expected arrival time): 100% of the remaining balance of stay plus taxes will be assessed and charged. May be applied to a future stay by special arrangement.
No show: (Guests that do not cancel and do not arrive at the hotel) 100% of the total stay plus taxes will be assessed and charged.
Early departure: There is no refund for early departure.

Damage: Please note that the credit card on file will be used to cover any breakage or damage occurring during your stay.

Breakfast: All rooms include a continental breakfast, served daily, 7:30 AM-10:00 AM. Other breakfast items on the menu have prices indicated. Lunch and dinner items have prices listed on their respective menus. These items can be paid at check-out.

Smoking: All areas of the hotel, including outdoor patios and pool, are no-smoking.

Parking / Security: The hotel has a night security person for keeping an eye on vehicles parked by guests directly in front of the hotel, there is no fee for this service. Guest staying on Isleta El Recedo can leave vehicles parked in front of Hotel La Polvora, or may park at our dock and pay 50 cordoba per night per vehicle to the family that lives there to keep an eye things. Please be aware that our facilities employ security cameras and that your image will be recorded.

I.D. Requirement & Guests: Everyone that enters the hotel for the first time is required to show a photograph I.D. / Passport with proof of age. We are required to keep a photocopy of this I.D. on file for all persons who enter. We do not allow anyone under 18 years of age onto the premises unless they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anybody.

The hotel is not responsible for lost or damaged items, personal injury or loss.
